6 Materials to Get Rid of Unpleasant Odors in Your House

1. Baking soda
Drop baking soda at the bottom of the trash that has been cleared and also on the plastic bag to be used. In addition, borax can also neutralize odor in the trash. Do it by spreading the borax at the bottom of the trash bin.

2. EM4 
Periodically spray liquid containing EM4 (effective microorganisms) in the trash. This fluid is widely available in the market at affordable prices. EM4 bacteria are beneficial bacteria that can overcome the spoilage bacteria and neutralize odor. This fluid is widely used to make compost.

3. Vinegar
The nature of vinegar is able to neutralize the strong smell of paint. Simply pour a cup of vinegar on a bowl and place it in the center of the room which is painted.

4. Salts
Mix one cup of water with two tablespoons of salt. Put it in the corner of the room that smelled of paint.

5. Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum)
The aroma of cinnamon may overcome the odor in the kitchen. Spread powdered cinnamon on the stove placemat around the fire. In addition, you can also roast the cinnamon powder until charred thus producing the refreshing cinnamon scent.

6. Citrus Lemon Water
The aroma of lemon can also ward off bad odor in the kitchen. Juice a lemon, mix with a glass of water and a few cloves. Boil it for 20 minutes. And the kitchen odor deterrent liquid can be used immediately.
