Dirty scattered kitchen utensils might also create odor in the kitchen. This condition will definitely make you feel uncomfortable when cooking and preparing food in the kitchen.

First, clean up your kitchen by putting all kitchen utensils in their place neatly.¬† It is the first compulsory job you should do when cleaning the kitchen. Clean up the dishes, glasses, pots or pans which are untidy. Sort kitchen utensils you really use every day and which you don’t. This is certainly an effective way to make your kitchen not look crowded.

Second, clean your kitchen furniture. You can start by cleaning your refrigerator shelf. Do it by washing the shelf with a mixture of warm water and soap.

Next, you can clean the surface of your stove which is often exposed to spills of oil or water. Do it by wiping the surface of the stove with a cloth. Do not forget to also clean your microwave.

Third, clean the countertop and kitchen cabinets. Wipe the bottom part of the countertop because it is usually the dirtiest part. Also, do not store food that smells  too long in the kitchen cabinets, because the pungent smell of the food will spoil the taste of your new dishes.

Fourth, clean the sink. Pour vinegar in all the surface of the sink, and let stand for 10 minutes. After that, brush all surfaces of the sink, especially in crevices and corners where dirt often stick. Rinse it with warm water. Also do not forget to clean the faucet on the sink. Dispose the trash next to the sink regularly.

Fifth, clean your kitchen accessories. Accessories such as curtains would be a sweetener for your kitchen. Make sure that you wash the curtains regularly, say once a week. Clean the floor, wall, and ceiling using a vacuum cleaner.

Well, now you can start cleaning up with your family members. Always maintain the cleanliness of your kitchen and you will always have a comfortable kitchen to produce delicious dishes.
